Cattle Feed plant was set up during 1976 of 100 TPD capacity. It has facilities for manufacturing cattle feed, poultry feed, piggery feed & mineral mixtures, bricks and molasses urea bricks. The consistency in quality and regular supply has earned a lot of goodwill for HAFED Cattle Feeds. HAFED had replaced existing plant with ultra modern technology new plant of 150 TPD capacity (expandable upto 300 TPD). The past performance of Cattle Feed Plant is as under:

Animal Feed Plant, Saktakhera

HAFED has set up an Animal Feed Plant at Saktakhera of 50 TPD capacity during the year 2001. The profit of 100.44 lac at Cattle Feed Plant, Saktakhera during 2012-13 is ever highest since inception.

Pesticides Plant, Taraori

With a view to make available quality insecticides and weedicides at reasonable prices, HAFED established a Pesticide Plant at Taraori in 1974. During the last few years, several new products have been added to meet the requirements of Wheat, Paddy, Cotton & Oil seed crops of Haryana State. The past performance of the plant is as under:

Sugar Mill, Assandh

HAFED had set up a Sugar Mill of 2500 TCD capacity per day alongwith incidental co-generation of 2 MW power exportable to state grid at Assandh with a cost ofRs.80.00 crore approximately. The mill has crushed 30.43 lakh quintals of sugar cane during the year 2012-13 and the sugarcane sowing area has been increased from 13,000 acre to 14,300 acre under the jurisdiction of HAFED Sugar Mill, Assandh as compared to 2011-12. The sugar recovery of the mill is also increasing year by year and achieved at level of 9.90% during 2012-13, this is more than average recovery of Cooperative Sugar Mills of Haryana. The Sugar Mill has also earned net profit ofRs.3.37 crores which is remarkable achievement.

Barlay Malt Plant, Jatusana

The Barley Malt Plant, Jatusana has been given to UB Group on lease @Rs.50 lac per annum. The lease is valid upto July, 2016.

Turmeric Processing Unit, Radur

A Turmeric Plant has been set up at Radaur to provide the marketing support to the local turmeric farmers.

Rice Mill, Taraori

With a view to have latest milling, grading, sortexing and finishing facilities in order to compete in the domestic and International Rice Markets, modernization of HAFED Rice Plant at Taraori at an estimated cost ofRs.3.06 Crores has been completed.

Flour Mill, Taraori

A flour Mill has also been set up at Taraori (Karnal) with an estimated project cost ofRs.1.50 Crores.

Seed Processing Plant, Ganaur

With the aim to provide good quality seeds to the farmers at a reasonable price, HAFED has diversified into a new activity of seed production during the year 2010-2011.
